On October 24, the Trump campaign and state Republicans are demanding that a state Nevada court temporarily block election officials in a Nevada county from counting early votes, accusing election officials of mishandling mail ballots and of refusing to accommodate their observers.

The lawsuit, follows a letter sent to Clark County's election officials this week by the state Republican Party's attorneys outlining many of the same complaints, including restrictions to its election observers, and threats of legal action if they were not addressed.

October 24 - District Court

Carson City District Judge James Wilson made the ruling hours after the lawsuit was filed by the Nevada Republican Party and the campaign for President Donald Trump's Donald Trump's re-election. Republicans asked for the counting to be stopped until a plan is in place for them to observe the process. Wilson denied the request, but will hold an evidentiary hearing on October 28.
